Deemaze Software is the entity responsible for the Deemaze Device Lab and this privacy policy was written considering the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"). The privacy and protection of the Lab's users is our number one concern. Therefore we tried to be clear and succinct in the terms present on this page. Any other concern or question you may have while consulting these policies please feel free to contact us using this email lab@deemaze.com.
A user can enroll in this service as a Subscriber, as a Contributor or as a regular User. All subscribers were notified by email when the Deemaze Device Lab starts operating, we may also send some important news in the future regarding the service. The only data we require from our users to subscribe to the newsletter is their email address. On the other hand, if a user wants to donate his device to the Lab he needs to be enrolled as a Contributor, as well as provide us their name, email and mobile device model. If a Contributor wants to remain anonymous we won’t ask for more data, otherwise he can provide us his website link and logo so we can announce him or his company as collaborators. Finally, to register in the device lab as a Regular User we’ll need to store the name, email and the encrypted password, so the users can authenticate themselves towards the system. For these users, we also store the future training sessions they have booked so we can prepare the lab before their sessions. We are only collecting the essential data for the system to operate and we'll not store any other kind of personal data without asking for the user's permission.
A user can ask for data deletion or updating by contacting us through email at lab@deemaze.com or by using the “Delete account” button in the User Profile page. On that same page, the users will also be able to update their username, password and cancel future training sessions.
The Deemaze Device Lab will preserve user data for up to 5 years after the last user's activity in our system. Whenever this time elapses the data will be deleted from our databases. The Deemaze Device Lab is not sharing, selling or allowing third parties access to their users' personal data. Exceptions are granted to services we need to integrate with in order to keep the Lab operating:
